Maryland Major Soccer League 1st Division sides Christos FC and Izee Auto FC will square off on Sunday 24 March for the Maryland State Soccer Association Amateur Cup Championship. The winner advances to Region I play as they will look to become the east coast representative in the USASA National Final Four. The USASA National will be held in the summer of 2019 where the USASA National Amateur Cup Champion will be crowned which comes with a $15,000 prize, direct entry into the 2020 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup (by-passing local qualifying), entry into the 2020 Steinbrecher Cup to play the champions of the NPSL and USL3, and the opportunity to face the UEFA Regions Cup Champion (Europe's Amateur National Champ). So there is a lot at stake and it starts by winning the Maryland Amateur State Cup championship.

Christos and Izee Auto FC have battled many times over the years including last year's State Amateur Cup final which Christos prevailed 3-2. Good luck to both clubs.
