Nigel Fullerton named Deputy Commissioner

The Maryland Major Soccer League is pleased to announce that effective immediately Nigel Fullerton has been named Deputy Commissioner. Nigel has been serving as the MMSL's Director of Operations. The move enhances the League front office by maximizing Nigel's tremendous experience and relationships in the soccer community. MMSL Commissioner Bill George said, "Nigel is a tremendous access to the Maryland Majors and the soccer community. He is involved in so many aspects from liaison with managers, teams, referees, and field marshals to assisting with disciplinary matters, sponsors, and insurance claims. The clubs, managers, and players are fortunate to have someone of his dedication and we are pleased to name him Deputy Commissioner.'

A native of Jamaica, Nigel has been in the U.S. since he was 14. 

Nigel has coached for many years from the youth ranks through elite amateur ranks. On the adult side, he coached the MD Lions, other schools and clubs that he has coached includes Catonsville Community College, City College High School,  Mergenthaler Vocational Tech High School, Northeast Middle School, and the Mount Washington School.

Nigel is an executive board member of the Baltimore International Soccer Academy (BISA) .

Nigel is also a certified referee with the United States Soccer Federation, Mason-Dixon Soccer, and Maryland Soccer Referee Association. Further, Nigel is a United States Soccer Federation Referee Assignor.
