The Baltimore Kickers (1970 and 1997 MMSL Champs) lifted the World Class Premier Pre-Season Charity Cup defeating two 1st Division MMSL clubs along the way. In the first game of the day, Kickers prevailed over recently promoted 1st Division side All Stars United 7-6 in pks after the match was tied 2-2 through full time. In the championship match, the Kickers defeated another recently promoted club in Columbia FC 2-0.

Congrats to Len Van de Graff, Fran McGrath, the players, and the entire Kickers organization. The timing of the cup victory is bittersweet for the Baltimore Kickers organization who recently lost long time member and co-founder with her husband Fritz, Anna Steffen. Ms. Anna is a member of the USASA and Maryland Soccer Halls of Fame and served the Baltimore Kickers for more than 50 years. She also served the Maryland Major Soccer League in many roles and was the Secretary for the Maryland State Soccer Association for more than 30 years. Rest in peace Anna and congrats to the Baltimore Kickers.
