--For Immediate Release-- The Maryland Major Soccer League is now accepting applications for the spring 2020 campaign and is looking to expand it's MMSL 2nd Division - South Division which come spring 2020 will be known as the MMSL Capital - Beltway Division. Commissioner Bill George says, "the Maryland Major Soccer League is the premier elite amateur league in the Mid-Atlantic. For decades we were a "Baltimore League" but we are tremendously proud of the caliber of clubs that we have from around DC beltway including Motorik ALX FC, Rockville SC, Colombia FC, Dream Team FC, Limitless FC, and MD International Athletic FC." Deputy Commissioner Nigel Fullerton says in reviewing club applications, "we look for well organized clubs who want a well run league and an opportunity to compete against the best." Interested clubs from DC, MD, or VA (DMV) should follow this link to submit an application.

The Maryland Majors Beltway Division plays fixtures at some of the best fields in Montgomery County including MLK Regional Park in Silver Spring, Montomery Blair HS, and Laytonia Regional Park. Matches are also played at Motorik ALX FC's home park at West Pomotac HS in Alexandria, Virginia.

The MMSL features promotion and relegation and offers cash prizes to both the 1st Division and 2nd Division champions totaling $3,500 for the fall 2019 season. Additionally, all Maryland Majors clubs are eligible to compete in the US Soccer's Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup and the USASA National Amateur Cup.
