Christos FC and Izee Auto FC to compete in NESL this summer

Five State Soccer Associations in USASA Region I (Maryland State Soccer Association, Eastern PA, New Jersey, Eastern NY, and Connecticut) have come together to form the Northeast Elite Soccer League which will be a summer league competition featuring 8 of the best teams in the east coast. Two teams will be representing Maryland and the Maryland Major Soccer League. Those 2 teams are Christos FC and Izee Auto FC. 

Christos FC won the fall 2017 Maryland Major Soccer League Championship and went on to win the 2 State Cup championships (Rowland and Stewart Cups).

Izee Auto FC advanced to the semi-finals of the fall 2017 Maryland Major Soccer League where they lost 3-2 to Christos FC. Additionally, Izee advanced to the finals of both State Cups losing to Christos in PKs in the Rowland Cup after the match was tied 3-3 through 120 minutes and lost 3-2 to Christos in the Stewart Cup final.

Both clubs will represent Maryland proudly in the Northeast Elite Soccer League and will look to win the summer championship and prize money that goes with.

The other teams in the league include Lansdowne Bhoys from New York City, West Chester United (Eastern PA), Junior Lone Star (Philadelphia), Cedar Stars (Eastern New York), Newtown Pride (Connecticut), and FC Motown/Jackson Lions (New Jersey).
