What club will promote to the 1st Division?

The Maryland Major Soccer League 2nd division wraps up regular season play on 10 June. Then four teams will battle it out for the 2nd division championship and earn promotion to the MMSL 1st Division. The four teams and match-ups are:

Steel Pulse FC - heading into match week #10 Steel Pulse is 8-1-0 (24 pts) and has been the class of the 2nd division with an impressive +27 goal differential. There only loss of the season came to Super Delegates FC by a score of 1-0. A team they may square off against in the 2nd division play-off championship match.

Super Delegates FC - heading into match week #10, Delegates are 6-1-2 (W-L-D) and sit atop the 2nd Division, Reif Conference. The club will square off Columbia FC in the play-off semi-final. During the regular season, these two battled to a hard fought 3-3 tie.

Columbia FC - the new club to the league finished as runner up in the 2nd Division, Steffen Conference head into the final match of the regular season with a 5-2-2 record. In their matches vs. play-off opponents they tied Super Delegates FC 3-3; lost to Steel Pulse 0-2; and defeated Old Baltimore Footballers 2-1.

Old Baltimore Footballers - this up and coming club is 5-4-0 (W-L-D) heading into the final match week. They have lost close matches to the other play-off teams including losing 3-5 to Super Delegates FC in match week #3; losing to Columbia FC 1-2 in match week #5; and dropping a tough match 3-4 to Steel Pulse in match week #8. 

Whoever prevails a qualify side will promote to the Maryland Major Soccer League 1st Division.
