In what is effectively the 100th Maryland Major Soccer League Championship (going back to the Greater Baltimore Soccer League which dates back to 1919), three time defending champion and five time overall champion, Christos FC  squares off against reigning spring champion World Class Premier Elite FC on 16th December at Banner Field at Latrobe Park in Baltimore City.

These two sides were the class of the 1st division all season and squared off against each other twice with each side winning once by the same 3-1 score line. The rubber match will decide the fall 2018 champion, the 54th Maryland Majors champion (under the Maryland Majors name) and the 100th champion dating back to Maryland Major predecessor leagues.

Christos FC is 10-3-0 (W-L-D) in all competitions this fall including US Open Cup local qualifiers and World Class Premier Elite is 10-1-3 (W-L-D) in all competitions.  Christos FC finished the Maryland Majors regular season in first place (8-2-0, 24pts) and earned a bye to the championship match while World Class Premier finished in 2nd place (6-1-3, 21pts) and defeated 3rd place finisher Super Delegates FC in a one game semi-final by a score of 2-1 to advance to the championship match.
